Andrew Breitbart: Man Against the Mob

11 Nov

Part of my blog will be dedicated to paying tributes to good men and women who advance the cause we believe in.

Breitbart was a phenomenon – he understood the left. That was his greatest gift. In fact, I have to admit that much of my understanding of how the left operates comes from his work. This video clearly portrays his talent. You can see he is certain that these mobs are merely masses of irrational people who are simply instructed to protest by greater powers (left-wing lobbies, Unions, and Democrats), and getting paid to do it. You’ll notice how they fail to counter his well-founded accusations.

I always find it amusing that leftists constantly babble about Hannity, Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter, and basically every right-wing pundit. They debate them by calling them racists, homophobes, xenophobes and the like. Any right-minded person knows these people are nothing of the sort. There is no evidence that they are racists – because they aren’t. With all the hate they receive on a daily basis (and thus attention), I’m certain that, had they ever said something racist in public, we would be hearing about it 24/7 on our TV screens.

Ultimately, it’s obvious why left-wingers use hate tactics: because they can’t debate with facts. Facts on the ground have repeatedly contradicted all their fancy theories and false accusations. (Thank you Ann Coulter)

The Tea Party episode on Capitol Hill was particularly disturbing. Members of the Black Caucus falsely accused these law-abiding, peaceful citizens of hurling the N-word at them. Breitbart was so sure that their claims were nonsense that he offered $100k for any evidence that confirmed the the Black Caucus’ accusations. Not surprisingly, Breitbart kept his money – out of thousands of cameras that were taping the Black Caucus walking through the Tea Party demonstration (including those of the Mainstream Media who despise Tea Partiers), not one caught the alleged insults on tape. Coincidence?

This is proof of left-wing hate-mongering and shows their appeal to division and disharmony – and racism. Allen West would never do that. He too is black and part of the Black Caucus, but can live comfortably in his own skin without constantly complaining about America being racist.

(On a side note – notice how we can talk negatively about black people just like we do with whites – this is real post-racial discourse. Treating everybody in the same way, and not acting condescending toward blacks would be a great lesson for ‘non-racist liberals’. More on this topic soon.)

We must do precisely what Breitbard did – fight against the radical mob, funded by left-wing institutions, and allow the individual to be free.

Remember to tell your friends, family, and neighbours – and especially your black friends – that the Republican Party is the only political party in America that has always sided with the blacks and which treats blacks as truly equal to whites. The Democrats try to hide their racist past under the rug by being condescending toward them (check out Rachel Maddow’s awkward language when talking to blacks on her terrible TV show). By acting this way they appear to treat them like children. I don’t want to accuse them of being racists, but certainly it is a possibility, given their condescending attitudes. If Republicans promoted this argument on a national scale, we would no longer see 90% of African Americans voting for the Democratic Party. They need not be afraid of the consequences – leftists will call them racists, whatever it is they say: we have learned from the clown Chris Matthews that the words ‘apartment’ and ‘Chicago’ are racist ‘code-words’. Please.

I will address the topic of race soon – stay tuned!

In memory of the most combative, conservative, INDIVIDUAL, Andrew Breitbart.

Going back to London

The great Abraham Lincoln. He’s relevant to this debate as you’ll se below.

___________________

I’ve been here in Milan, Italy, for the past week getting some rest thanks to a break from lessons at University. I’m going back to London today. Tomorrow, I have my class on the American Civil War, which is terrific. I love the course.

However, I did have an opportunity once to defend my views during the class – that was not so enjoyable. Not surprisinly, at least for me and for those who go to ‘mainstream’ universities like mine or who read my blog, my views on Capitalism were met with laughter by the class when I attempted to defend them. The whole damn class. Comprising not of individuals, but of a mass that shares the same values which have been inculcated in them by their high school teachers and their professors at university. They didnì’t laugh because I said anything stupid, they laughed because they saw a guy who disagreed with them and who advocated such taboo topic at university: Capitalism. Anyway, I was not discouraged, I kept fighting. A few years ago I would have stepped down to the challenge, not now. Also, for those of you who like have had to contend at least once in their life with this mass, you should take comfort in these words:

“If a wise man has an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs, and there is not comfort” Proverbs 29:9 from the Bible. (Hello Joe Biden!!!)

Wonderful, isn’t it? The minute I read this I felt better. We have divine confirmation of how utterly petty these people are. I love debating people who disagree with me, make no mistake about it. I enjoy it. But that episode in class represented all that’s wrong with the mass. The mass is unthinking, irrational, and devoid of reason. The problem about socialism is that it promotes and encourages these masses to form. That’s why it’s always failed. We are individuals. We stand for our own principles. We can identify with other, but I am myself and you are yourself. We are not parts of a mass. We are not drops in an ocean, we are not particles of a mass. And we should thank God for being born this way. I am grateful for being an individual.

On a final note: that episode in class was interesting because, for the remainder of the seminar discussion, history got twisted – in a history class. I was compared to slaveholders due to their love of property (slaves), which is, as we all know, a cornerstone of Capitalism: the sanctity of property. Of course, what these people don’t understand, even though they are, in theory, great historians, is that it was precisely said slaveholders who were anti-capitalists because they despised freedom. Black men were enchained. Freedom and Capitalism go hand in hand, you can’t have one with out the other.

The Union promoted Capitalism (Lincoln LOVED Capitalism – just read one of his speeches), the Confederacy fought against it. Historians, get real. Come down from planet bonkers.

“Don’t expect to build up the weak by pulling down the strong”

By Calvin Coolidge, 30th President of the United States. It encapsulates everything that’s wrong with socialism. They think that tearing down people who work hard helps poor people move up in society. That’s wrong – the only system that really works is when everyone is truly free and treated as a human being: not like a baby in need of a nanny (the government). Keeping people dependent of the government is just another less cruel form of slavery (and a fancy way of buying votes).

Rich people are under no obligation to give to the poor. They may do so by giving to a charity – the government is a lousy charity: most of the revenue it receives is wasted and given to high-earning bureaucrats. When will people realize that helping the poor should be a voluntary, not compulsory act? Why are we born to accept this twisted culture? People who earn their money should be able to do what they please with it. Of course, some taxes are needed but please don’t throw in the excuse that taxpaying is charitable – it’s nothing of the sort!

It’s also interesting to notice that, more often than not, people who complain about the need of higher taxes to look after the poor are also those who give little to charity themselves: look at Obama.

Capitalism promotes helping the community and the poor by giving to charity. It is encouraged. I highly reccomend it – it gives you a nice feeling. But it should in no way be compulsory.

So, please, people who advocate higher taxes: stop saying it’s to help the poor. Stop whining, lift your behinds from your comfy chairs and go volunteer or donate money at a charity organization. And leave other people alone. Government-is-not-a-charity.

I’ve been having this debate tonight out at the bar. People, though, just don’t get it. They’ve been educated to believe that government is a force of good and that higher taxes make less fortunate people live  their lives better. Total garbage. We need to change this mentality that’s leading our Western economy down the drain. Our education system is a disaster.

Big government advocates are sitting at the top of the Mount Everest of hypocrisy. Thank God the US Constitution protects you against them. Remember – don’t let Obama mess around with it.

A snippet of Europe

As you may know from my ‘about’ section, I’m Italian and I reside in London, UK. Therefore, one question I get every so often is “why are you so into American politics?”

Simply put, because it’s the last beacon of hope for my values – freedom, capitalism and democracy. As long as the US preserves these values, we can always aspire to be like them. However, I cannot help but sense that Obama and his Democrat machine are out to tamper with the Constitution which I have deeply studied and which I admire as the best Constitution in the world. I hate to play too much into partisan politics, but it’s plainly clear that the GOP, despite its flaws, stands as the best defender of the Constiution and its most powerful protector. If Americans all knew how good the Constitution is, they would never elect a Democrat again.

Nevertheless, as per usual, some people only realize how lucky they were to have a particular posession or characteristic, or friend, or lover, or husband, or wife, until they are obliged to live without it/him/her. So, for the sake of our Democrat friends, I just want to point out how lucky they are to have such a precious Constitution and to live in such a great nation by describing the current situation that is threatening the very existence of Europe. I’ll focus on Italy as it’s my home country.

You might not believe some of the following points, but, I can assure you, they are true.

1) We didn’t elect our current Prime Minister — he was elected by parliament as a technocrat-temporary PM who was seen as the best man to deal with the crisis. He is an economist who knows nothing about the economy because:

    a) He is raising taxes by about 100% in a period of deep crisis and recession, which completely contradicts the proven consequences of the Laffer Curve – the more you increase taxes after a certain point, the less revenue you get.

  b) He is doing nothing about cutting spending in any serious way.

 c) He continues to support the Euro which is a proven failure.

2) We live in a complete police state due to the state’s obsession with going after tax cheats – if you have a fancy car, if you go to a restaurant and buy a nice bottle of champagne, if you have cable networks (!!!), you’re likely to be stopped and questioned by the tax collectors on how you can afford all this stuff.

3) Success here is attacked and frowned upon in a way that makes Obama look like a pro-business President. The more money and the more power you have, the more likely you are of having to face trials and prosecutions for frivolous matters, which brings me to point…

4) Our judges (we have no juries) are all left-wingers who basically spend their life thinking about new ways to put Berlusconi (our former centre-right PM) behind prison bars, while letting murderers, rapists and pedophiles run free. Last year one of our judges went to a Communist Union-sponsored demonstration – nobody said anything about how twisted that is.

5) If you’re part of a minority community, chances are you’ll never go to jail if you end up stealing or murdering people

6) Our left-of-centre politicians (about 75% of them) all come from the PCI, the Italian Communist Party (now defunct), which was a whisker away from gaining power in the 70s. Yes, they’re all about 70 years old.

7) THIS IS THE WORST: Our Constitution was drafted by the Socialists in 1948 due to the shock of Mussolini’s extreme-right Fascism during WWII. You can thus imagine how dumb it is. According to our Constitution, people are ENTITLED to work (even if they sit on their ass the whole day), Governments can be overthrown by parliament (some of our administrations last a few months – we usually have elections every 2 years: the only government that lasted for a whole term was Berlusconi’s in 2001-2006 due to his party’s ample majority in Parliament)

8) We have a huge welfare state which spends copious amounts of money and wastes even more. Again, this is granted by our idiotic constitution. Politicians spend their lifetime trying to come up with a solution to our debt crisis without looking at this simple fact. Obviously though, in their defense, taking away any of these entitlements which people have enjoyed for the last 70 years or so would probably cause a Civil War. Anyway, our impending bankruptcy will too, so they might as well deal with it.

9) We have more bureaucrats/government workers than the US Federal Government. Our Parliament has more members than yours. (!!!!!)

10) We have about 10 major parties that never agree on anything.

11) It takes ages to pass a law, because of point 10

12) We pay loads in taxes to finance our huge government. My father had quite a successful company which, therfore, due to it being successful, paid about 70% in taxes. Ponder that for a moment. See how success is attacked here?

13) If you live in Italy, you’re likely to have your phone tapped. The government wants to control everything.

These are just about half of our problems, and probably our worst ones. I’m not going to write the other half because it would take me the rest of the day to do so. These problems are, to at least some extent, present throughout Europe. This is why we are in such a deep hole and can’t get out of it. We need to change our political culture into one which is closer to freedom and a *really* free market.

Americans who read this: you will surely realize how lucky you are to have a Constitution that was drafted precisely to spare your country from the troubles we are going through right now. However, you should also take it as warning sign; I think this is where you’re headed with Obama. This is where he wants to take you and this is what he will try to do to take America down. His father’s dream was to destroy America and Obama’s is the same (just read his book – it’s obvious he hates America). He will do it by adopting the same measures that are taking down Europe. His record proves it.

I plead my American friends to take the fight into their own hands to drive America from this path of destruction. I also hope that the GOP House will put obstacles on Obama’s path (which they will surely do), and that good Democrats (they do exist) realize what a disaster Obama is for the country they love. Your main weapon is the Constitution – defend it, promote it, study it, and encourage your neighbours, family, and friends to do the same. Defend your God-given freedoms and your rights to curb excessive government, and support politicians who share your values! Europeans like me are counting on you to do so!

How liberals argue

9 Nov

oImageA member of Occupy in Italy. Notice how articulate he is in expressing his viewpoint

_______________

A few days ago I wrote a Facebook post supporting Mitt Romney; it was the day before the election, when the heat was on. Naturally, due to the fact that about 90% of my friends are either liberals or know nothing about politics, I started getting the ‘shocked’ comments. Aside from the usual people who try to counter my points with baseless arguments basedn fantasies, I want to isolate two interesting ‘case studies’ I would like to bring them to your attention:

One friend of mine, who goes to my university wrote something on the lines of:

“oh my god what the hell are you saying!?!?” – This is a clear example of indoctrinated students who cannot, bless their hearts, think for themsleves. They just cannot come to grips with the fact that opposing views to socialism exist. They live inside the university bubble where the only debate is whether it’s best to implement socialism or full Communism. Of course, when they come to realize that other students who live in that same environment hold different views, they just can’t handle it – it’s like waking up from a dream. That’s probably how they feel. These are typically people who are going to be shocked when they exit the academic fantasy and enter the real world. A similar reaction to theirs is easily accessible on Youtube, just check out Obama’s Denver debate performance against Mitt Romney. Obama lived inside the friendly mainstream media bubble and was thus, much like this friend of mine, who instead lives in the academia bubble, shocked to witness somebody challenge his opinions.

Another case comprises of the usual bigot. However, this is most interesting due to the fact that the person who wrote this comment used to be one of my teachers at my school. Some teachers, most of them, of course, (as you know), play into leftist tactics. Not being able to counter common sense arguments with facts, they attack people instead. I’m sure my few readers will have come across one of these cases. What shocked me is that this teacher, who for obvious reasons I shall not name, managed to play two typical leftist tactics in one phrase. It’s probably his best life achievement. Also, he used to teach a course which taught students about the importance of tolerance. Keep this in mind while reading his comment:

“God bless you, [my name]. You really are a nutcase after all.”

This comment portrays, as I mentioned above, both a condescending attitude (first part) and ignorance (second part). Of course, I absolutely burned him by refusing to attack him as he did but rather by pointing out his immaturity for all my friends (most of whom were students of his) to see. A friend of mine actually went that extra mile by ridiculing him (bless her). Needless to say, he didn’t reply.

I need to thank Ann Coulter and the late Andrew Breitbart for opening my eyes to how the left typically argues: ignoring facts they usually don’t know and going straight to adopting full-attack mode (see Obama’s 2012 campaign). Of course, there are some rare articulate lefties out there, such as one of my Communist friends, who can actually make pretty impressive arguments for their cause. These people are rare because leftist arguments make no rational or logical sense  (eg. lower the debt by spending more) but do not lose faith – you will someday find them! We should argue with them to advance our cause. If you are debating ignorant people or people who resort to personal attacks, you might as well debate your furniture – no progress will be made.

It is, however, pure joy to ridicule ignorant lefties. It might not be useful to our cause but it highlights their irrationality and can actually be quite enjoyable. Evening entertainment #forall!!!

A final point: notice how lefties pride themselves on being tolerant but are frequently the least tolerant. I will expand on this topic in the future. In the meantime, check out some Bill Maher and David Letterman videos on Youtube to give you an idea.

Aerosmith – Freedom Fighter

9 Nov

This song is from Aerosmith’s new album and sung by Joe Perry, the band’s lead guitarist. It’s the anthem of the fight for freedom.

Joe Perry is a defender of the Constitution and our freedoms, one of the few in showbiz.

Enjoy!

A reflection on the US Election

8 Nov
It’s going to be painful, personally, to witness Obama hide behind the veil of fancy speeches and continue his reckless hyper-divisive agenda comprising big-spending policies which will steepen America’s path to decline by freely handing out government giveaways and entitlements and thus making one half of the population dependent on the other half’s fortunes. The USA needs to return to the principles of smaller government and lower taxes, and greater freedom, that are enshrined in their great Constitution envied by the world, and which have made it the great power we all know. Under Obama, it’s not going to happen, as the last 4 years prove. The decline of the West is now an undeniable reality, but Conservatives everywhere must fight back against the institutionalized left to bring back the principles of liberty and free market capitalism that have been proven time and again as the most effective system of government, the only road to prosperity. For our message to succeed, though – and I’m sorry to say this – we’ll probably have to wait for Europe and the US to hit rock bottom with their current perpetually failing socialist policies. It’s going to happen within 5 years – just wait and see. At that point people will appreciate what I’m saying. Hang on tight, Americans and Europeans; Liberty will soon triumph.

Why I’m setting up this blog

8 Nov

I’ve always been conservative. It’s in my blood. I still remember rooting for conservative candidates when I was barely ten years old and knew nothing about politics. My family is fairly apolitical, so I suspect it just permeated through me from in some mysterious way which I’m yet to find out.

Change (yes, you’re familiar with that word, I believe) occurred in 2010 upon entering university. I was utterly shocked at how Professors indoctrinate students to make them believe that Marxism is the ‘only way.’ I go to a public university in London, UK. It is shocking to think that taxpayers fund leftist education. Thinly veiled propaganda promoted by these Professors captures the attention students who, at my age, are rightly concerned with the mission ‘changing the world.’ Most of them (who are, ironically, very smart people) join their cause and get active in such mob-like movements such as Occupy. These students are thus educated to believe that capitalism is evil, and that freedom only comes with socialism. However, what they do not realize, is that Marxism – when implemented – promotes despotism, autocracy and tyranny  What they tend to neglect is that freedom and socialism are mutually exclusive, and that dependency on government does not constitute freedom – it is slavery. Socialism makes people dependent on the nanny state and deprives them of their God-given individualism and sanctity of liberty and opportunity.

My eyes have been opened by university, I have become more conservative, and I have hence decided to use this blog as a tool to promote the cause of freedom, justice, and free market capitalism, which has always produced infinite good, and which I believe is the ultimate hope of the earth.

I will mostly focus on American affairs. You see, the USA embeds these principles in its Constitution (the only country that has expressely done so) and it is important that they defend these principles with everything they’ve got in order to continue to shine their light on the world.

Obama’s reelection in 2012 deeply worries me. I feel these principles are at risk. If the US gradually neglects these principles make no mistake – it’s over. It is important to raise awareness on the gravity of the issue at hand.

Join the fight.
